Some of these are influential at a frequency too high or too low for human ears to hear. But I bet some of them are pretty obvious.
Sounds Like
A relative stranger, whispering sweet ambivalence in your ear. The loved one, pacing nervously, a bitter secret half-told. Unexpected exuberance, felt but not yet quite believed.
The moon at midnight, a figure against the ocean, shutters buffeted by the wind.

Raised by the Minnesota River, schooled among mountains and skyscrapers in Massachusetts, incubated in Silicon Valley. Used to play jazz piano without moving, now I sing and sway and play guitar. I'm in a band called Tin Cat. This band has many faces. Sometimes I drive across the country just to remember it's there.

This year's conference will be in Phoenix, Oct. 24-26. There are four official showcase rooms over two nights, which means there are lots more opportunities for official showcase artists this year! Just visit http://www. far-west. org/showcases. html for information about how to submit.

you should put up more of your songs. three songs, ha! what about "the thing I was going to say" or "Angelina" or- gosh- other songs! i am greedy for your songs!

glad you're back.
