Ephemeral Existence was formed in late 2001 in Albuquerque, NM by Mike (Guitar/Vocals) and Justin (Drums). Scot and Dominic later joined on Bass/Vocals and Rhythm Guitar. Chris (Bass) joined in 2003 and Scot moved to Vocals only. Dominic soon left the band and Scot moved to Guitar/Vocals. Scot soon also left the band. Soon after we recorded our first EP as a three-piece. It is available only as a demo because of poor quality. Dave (Guitar) settled in in the late half of 2004 replacing Scot. Chris decided to move in the fall of 2005 and the future of the band was uncertain.
In December of 2005 we decided to give it another shot and reform the band with some new members. After loosing our new bassist we have decided to disband due to some personal and musical differences.
Through our many line up changes we have consistenly challenged each other to take our music to the next level. Our music is a well balanced mixture of melody, technicality, and brutality sure to be enjoyed by all. Our lyrics are filled with various themes and philosophies of the state of humanity and the nature of existence; A fitting final touch to our unique style.
