Ephemeral mists began its musical journey during the end of 2008, when composer, Brett Branning, began fusing his cutting edge ambient electronics with the ancient musical traditions and instruments of the middle east and far east. The result is a stunningly beautiful ambient world of sound that goes well beyond the cliches of the genre and reaches for daunting new artistic and creative heights.

After spending the night trudging through thick muddy pages of friend requests, torturing my audio senses with grinding machine sounds & wailing banshees. At last the final friend before I close my weary blood shot eyes and say good night/good morning to another day, I come to Ephemeral Mists and find myself transported to an alternate reality filled with ice creatures, spiraling wisps, whispering willows. Gently they encourage my journey to the peaceful land of pillow. Now I must rest. Thank you for the moments of bliss. ~kate technodolly~

actually we re checkin ur uploads which re sounding really smooth and peaceful, it's the perfect soundtrack for chillin out and to forget the daily business...particularly "eastern channels" is sounding nicely and impressive too, really like ur different soundz which u have designed or chosen, also the smooth chords re just incredible nice...glad u found us, its really a pleasure to discover ur music....
