About EPIC MONDAY [ SHAPING ]

Turn it up loud and clear! this is the Epic Monday! Coming from the north of Italy withpowerfull sound and presence on stage will amaze you! A rock alternative to the others with no chances to avoid this! Prepare youself, the Epic Monday is coming! and will take you back to the beginning... The Epic Monday originated after years of individual experiences by the members of the band who, eventually, got together and started this project in 2007.Despite the young age, years of live concerts and in studio sessions made it possible for the band to reach a high level of maturity and stability, but most of all the greatest strenght of the group is the confidence of playing live and the ability of creating a vibrant energy that the public can immediately feel through their exibitions. Epic Monday signifies the day in which the delicate equilibrium between nature and technology will collapse, considering that our planet is already deteriorating and is crying out for help. The Epic Monday will thus be the day where everything will return to the origin, to a new starting point.Because of a particular sensitivity towards nature and its preservation by all the members of Epic Monday, the band finally decided to introduce this concept in the making of their first EP, but will also expand this theme creating a more aggressive side throughout their full lenght album.

Le copie in vinile del singolo sono andate brevemente a ruba e le reazioni da parte della carta stampata non hanno esitato ad arrivare: NME, Times Of London, The Guardian, Spin, Playboy, Fader, Dazed hanno tutti cantato le lodi di Fan Death. Il primo concerto tenutosi a New York è andato sold out, così come al Durr di Londra con i Franz Ferdinand e a Vancouver, la loro città natale, a supporto di Metronomy. Poi è arrivato il video di Veronica's Veil, girato a Jalisco in Messico, con un budget di soli 500 dollari. Dopo poche settimane su Youtube, si potevano contare già 50mila visualizzazioni.
