We are the fearless. We are the ones that are tired of religion. We are the ones that want answers. We are the misunderstood. We are the ones that roam the streets. We are the ones you won’t look in the eye. We are the ones growing restless. We are the generation God is calling. We are the ones rising up. We are the warriors that will lead. We are the ones that are spreading. We are the epidemic!
If you haven’t heard yet, there is an epidemic spreading across this nation! We are a growing group of teenagers that have been infected by this epidemic. We are sick and tired of what the world has to offer. We are no longer letting the media and culture define who we are supposed to be. We are not interested in religion, but rather a real life changing encounter with God. Our goal is to maintain a deep personal relationship with Jesus. We are tired of what is fake and artificial. We are seeking truth and life. And through all of this we have more fun than you can imagine. If you have been asking yourself questions like:
Is there more to life than this? What is the purpose of my life? Why is this world so messed up? What does it really mean to be a Christian? Why am I lonely? Does anyone really care about me? Why do I feel empty inside? How come people seem so fake? Does God really exist? Does God really know me? Why would God love someone like me? etc. . . . . .

1. LOVE: We will show unconditional love to every person we come in contact with. This unconditional love will transcend race, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomics. If we fail to love the very people that Jesus laid down His life for, then we as Christians are liars and hypocrites.
2. LISTEN: We will listen to the joys, pains, cries, questions, prayers, and hopes of every person that longs to be heard. We will also listen and hear the voice of Jesus through prayer and the daily reading of His Word.
3. LEAD: In an age when most choose to copy, imitate, and follow, we will make a stand to lead. The culture and media will not define who we are or how we should live our lives. Our eyes will stay fixed on Jesus and we will lead the lost , broken, and weary to Him.
4. GO: We will go where people are in need. We will redefine the traditional role of youth ministry. Baby-sitting teens for several hours on a Wednesday or Sunday night will no longer be our focus. Epidemic youth will meet in homes, parks, restaurants, parking lots, malls, vacant buildings, and schools. The Epidemic Movement will not be confined to the four walls of a church building.
5. SERVE: We will put the wants, needs, and desires of others before our own. We will sacrifice our time, energy, and resources to make a difference in the lives of people in need. Our mediocrity will be replaced with purpose. Our complacency will be replaced with action. And our indifference will be replaced with commitment.
