LINDA	Oct 14 2008 6:15 AM PET Scan, Wada test, fMRI, and Brain mapping then they will shedule my surgery, I am so scared, has anyone had this done? They might remove a portion of my left temporal lobe. Will I be able to work again? What will I be like after the surgery?

I'm 30 and was dignosed with epilepsy when I was 16! mine is hareditary. I'm at peace with it now and manage it with madication (one). but admit it's very difficult to deal with emotionaly at times. a couple of years ago I had 2 seizures back to back long story short, my meds needed to be changed because my brain chemestry changed i guess. I'm doing fine now. thank you for your comment. I would really like to help kids & or teens with epilepsy. do you know how I would go about that? thanks, Lisa
