We write deceptively pretty music, to which we then add profound and meaningful lyrics which are not so pretty but are always honest. Just call it a musical sneak attack. We're writing a few new tunes at the moment, so be prepared for some soul-wrenchingly confusing lyrics that will hopefully lead you to question everything, from political beliefs to philosophy and right down to how you spell your name...
Being intellectual geniuses, we decided to put our academic brilliance to good use. By dossing around and making music. Andy has been in a good few bands, playing every instrument but the harp and the didgeridoo... and maybe a small handful of others. He started in 39 Goldfish, moving swiftly on to Hummer, then on to Glass Front, Blackout and Chemical Sence. Oh, and a couple more whose names i forget. He plays guitar, drums, bass, recorder and football. I, on the other hand, have only been in one band before Eponym: I sang in Chemical Sence. I also play a teensy bit of guitar, bass and piano. But i'm rubbish, so i just stick to singing. Since i've only been in one other band, i figure i'm poorly qualified to write a biography, but i have an A Level in blag-ology (AKA General Studies) so maybe if i just pretend to know what i'm doing...
Basically, we've been writing music together for years, what with living in the same house since birth and stuff (he's my brother (biologically, not just in some weird hip-hop way...)).
