About me:




I'm Blake, and I was manufactured on 8.4.1989 (I'm 20.) I grew up in Garfield, New Jersey but I now live in Chicago, Illinois. I find scenes and trends to be ridiculous, but I have an appreciation for the gothic style, and a fucking passion for metal (particularly black metal). Politically, I'm a Democrat, but I'm not politically active. Philosophically, I'm an AutoDeistic Satanist, which has nothing to do with devil worshipping or the idea that Satan is real, because that's just bullshit. I also support the Church of Satan, though AutoDeistic Satanism is slightly different from LaVeyan Satanism.

Labels aside, I am a number of things: an artist (I draw and Photoshop), writer (I'm working on a 9-book series), screamer and lyricist (I had a black metal band called XS Blakk which fell apart - I'm trying to revive it), reader (I love books. I hate video games), and a music fan (favorite bands = Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, and The Agonist).

I have a very low tolerance for ignorance, stupidity, sarcasm, drugs (fucking hate them), Christianity, and short attention spans. That being said, I am tolerant of almost everything else and a really nice person who likes to hang out with people that I can really connect with and open up to. I'm not the typical guy - I hate sports and cars, for starters, and I wear eyeliner (no, that doesn't make me emo, so don't waste your breath trying to make me laugh). I have this thing for offending religious people. Hey, we all have our fetishes.

In closing I'm a pretty artistic and intelligent individual who seeks out like-minded people who are mature and not typical teenagers/young adults, but go against the grain and don't judge me.
