Eppisode the organizer of the Equinoxx fellowship was originally a drummer in a retro-funked "down home" bluesy church as a youth/kid and continued until he progressed to keyboarding and melodic maneuvering. He took his shot at rhyming with several brethren in his hometown until the river carried him to another stream of consciousness. Sometime in college he developed a profound perspective of self; not at all self-absorbed or an egonarsasomniac; just an awakening into the fervor of music/life/spirit (released). Epox linked with all of Eppisode's obscure musical tastes and complimented the feng shui so to speak. Jomo Nasara was a kind of stand-offish guy but provided a certain stability to the structure of Equinoxx. Imhotep the head of all ideas and arrangement was clever at giving shape to raw formed notions and brainstorming -- dude was just able to put it on paper with a clear headed translation. Equinoxx has performed here and there in various poetry spots and venues which welcomed juke joint-jazzy; acoustic-analog; backwards-heavy-forward-laced; mathematically-theatrical; blues-dusty; sensually-succulent; octaholohedronally-indigenous; tranquilly-boogied; sunny-simmered poetry outlined in soul music. There were several mix tapes and sessions recorded before Equinoxx released their debut album.
