Photo by Debbie Schwallie GK Track Graham-Kapowsin vs. Rogers H.S. by Debbie Schwallie On Wednesday, April 29th the Eagles gave their all against Rogers Rams. The Rogers Rams were able to win this meet but the Eagles worked hard to earn points for their team. GK athlete Justin Clarke placed 3rd in the 100 meters, placed 4th in the 200 meter and 2nd in the 400 meter races. GK's Aaron Mowery placed 1st in the 1600 and 3200 meter race and Grant Schwallie placed 2nd in the 110m Hurdles. In the Eagles' field events, Jesse Flores, placed 2nd in Discus with a throw of 128'09" and Jake Lippel placed 3rd in Shot Put with a throw of 43'11". The Eagles have one more meet before the SPSL Sub-Districts. They will be competing against Todd Beamer High School at Graham-Kapowsin's field at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
