Epsilon Project is a collective of 4 MC's, 2 MC/Producers and 1 DJ. Following in the footsteps of Loot Pack, Ohno, Kankick and others, the group, from Oxnard, California, has been creating original hip hop music as a unit since 2004. Music that Okayplayer.com described as having "sample-heavy, slightly dirty production reminiscent of Slum Village’s finest moments."
Over the last 4 years, EP has shared stages with the likes of Hieroglyphics, Krs One, De La Soul, Black Sheep and countless others. Known for their energetic live show and uncanny ability to produce well thought out Hip Hop music, the group has developed a substantial "underground" following.
In June of 2007 Epsilon Project released their first full length LP entitled Raising the Bar. The 13 track project features Wildchild and DJ Romes (Loot Pack), Oddisee (Low Budget), Stacy Epps and Kankick. "The number of underrated artists featured is noteworthy, to the point where "Raising the Bar" becomes one big, screaming wake-up call for the heads still sleeping" (rapreviews.com).
The group is currently working on their yet-to-be-titled second album, which is scheduled to be released during the third quarter of 2008. Other projects set to be released in 2008 include: Dex's Coo Squared Instrumentals, J-Pro's, The Opening Act and a collaborative mixtape with the Muddy Mud Skippers. Stay tuned...
