EQ [Grey] is a sub-label of EQ Recordings and was established in Melbourne, Australia in 2000.
Founded as a launching pad for new and emerging talent from Australia and around the globe, EQ [Grey] is now seven years and 30+ releases down the line and has remained true it’s ethos; it’s aided in raising the profiles of artists such as Sam Ball, Jon Gurd, Jim Rivers, Paul Keeley, Steve May, Kosmas Epsilon, Kriece and PJ Davy, and combining them with remixes by more established artists like Luke Chable, DJ Garth, Lemon8 and Lo-step.
One of the most consistent imprints in the Progressive, Tech and House realms, EQ [Grey] is continuing to build it’s fan base and in 2008 is bringing new signings from AMB, Lewie Day, L.E.O and Robsounds to the public ear.
Then there's this other project we're working on: As Long As The Moment Remixed. It's a collection of remixes of tracks from Chris Fortier's debut artist album released mid-2007, titled As Long As The Moment Exists.
There are 20 different mixes coming from by established, emerging and founding techno producers - all of whom represent a current snapshot of some of Chris' favourite artists.
