This has become an expensive adventure – We are here to provide tips on activism, signs, shirts, banners, and a sense of organization to the grassroots movement. BUT we need some financial help. Click on “SUPPORT US” and throw in a buck or two, it will help us out immensely.

Our goal here at Equality Action NOW is to provide a visible presence for all fighting for Equality, join us in this historic fight.

Remember our goal is peaceful protest – do not be swayed by the “yes” people to engage with them – Do no harm or damage to ANY buildings or property. We are making our position visible to the masses with each rally following peaceful protest rules.

ACTION LIST Show up at the State Capitol any time you can pull a group together. Advise us of your plans. Without permits you will have to walk around the perimeter of the Capitol on the outside sidewalk, keep moving and no megaphones (without permits)

ALL CITIES: Standing protest – Go to your County Recorders office and request a Marriage License for same sex couple AND keep going back.

ALL CITIES: January 19, 2009 Million Person March on Sacramento, Monday January 19, 2009. Get your hotel reservations now. Event will take place at the State Capitol. We will not stop until we have equal rights in our state. Sign up for teams. Equalityactionnow.org

ALL CITIES: February 14, 2009 Throughout California same sex couples should line up and request marriage licenses at their County Recorders office – should have protesters – more to come on this event.
