North Tonawanda New York, the birth place for the new and upcoming band Equilibrium. This band formarly known as Irony has taken on many new faces and styles throughout the years. January 16th, 2006 was the final show Irony was to play. Ryan Horab (Bass Equilibrium) the most active member of the band, and the lone guitarist still wanted to continue his love of playing music. Some of his favorite bands include Beatles, Oasis, Black Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, and Led Zeppelin. As Ryan continued playing music he caught up with a friend Steve Frankosky (Guitar/Vocals Equilibrium) who also had many of the same interests as Ryan. The two began playing and writing songs not thinking much of it, but in reality were forming a new band themselves. As they continued to jam to many of their favorite cover songs they realized that they needed a lead singer to add to the mix. So Ryan reached into his past and brought back Andy Simpson (Lead Singer) also a member of Irony who has sung in many musicals and shows. With the three making a immediate connection they began to play small shows looking for new members to join. Soon after shows began to surface it was now necessary that a drummer was needed. Chris Graf (Drums Equilibrium) now became a solid part to give the band some beat and needed energy to the scene. Next came another guitarist Tim MacDonald (Guitar/Vocals Equilibrium) who can play many difficult solos and brings another interesting element to the band. So was born EQUILIBRIUM, a rock band which plays a wide array of cover songs, and is very focused on creating originals and making it in the music industry. The bands members are very personable people who enjoy music, entertaining, and having fun. For booking for shows please contact us on our myspace or by e-mail Equilibrium6920047@yahoo.com.
