I really enjoyed their mix of 21st century Genesis, Muse and even Killers. They were certainly confident on stage, and again, I thought the keyboards worked really well. I shall definitely watch out for them around the city and see how they develop.

Producing immediate indie music with power and punch, Equinox have already built a strong following which is sure to get bigger.

It’s what MK needs at the moment, to be honest... Equinox have the makings to have quite an impact once they gather a bit of momentum behind them... A free EP being up for grabs leads to most of the crowd swarming to the nearby merch desk, I was barely lucky to pick up a copy for myself...It's not often that i really get into a band within the first couple of shows, especially when they're this young, maybe thats a tip for you to catch them this year too.

A sea of hand-waving in the crowd (and it was a crowd - easily over 100 people by then, our biggest ever at the Waterside Alternative Stage) during the Sunday afternoon sunshine indie-pop set from whippersnappers Equinox. Smiles on everyone's faces. Possibly the high point of the entire weekend.

It’s a lot like the poppier moments from Muse & Radiohead’s repertoire, not smashing it’s way with a lot of weighty riffs but edging along with some decently layered songs with some good licks (and some rather Thom Yorke-esque vocals) .
Hey,
We are Equinox, a young Alternative Rock band from Milton Keynes. We've been around gigging since last December, headlined the Pitz, played at various festivals throughout the summer.
For our gigs at mk theatre we are excited to announce that Sian Magill will be singing with us. We've added several new gigs for 2010, and there will be plenty more to come. WE WILL BE RECORDING SOON so will put some up-to-date material on the myspace
We love playing gigs anywhere and everywhere, so come down and see us, or feel free to ask us to play for you!

Hey dudes how are you doing? Just listening again to your tracks, really good stuff. Find and replace is my favourite. But all have a great retro feel to them. Looks like you are making a bit of progress on the live gigs too. Where did you record your tracks? Go well and keep believing MAtt
