Romero, Kevin Smith, Sam Raimi, Jim Henson, Robert Roderiguez, Quentin Tarentino, & Tim Burton; The Devil's Backbone, The Crow, Natural Born Killers, The Fifth Element, Unbreakable, The Boondock Saints, Talk Radio, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, films done in stop- motion animation, musicals, Alter Egos,Pan's Labyrinth, 300,AquaTeen, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Idiocracy, Stiff, Drive Thru, Terry Pretchett's The Hogfather, Bicentennial Man, Swamp-thing I and The Guyver II (weird, yes?), Tekkonkinkreet, Justice League: The New Frontier, Patient J, Corto Maltese (even though I have no idea what's going on in them because I don't speak French and there are no subtitles...), Tokyo Gore Police, The Dark Knight, Watchmen, things done by MST3K, True Romance, Heathers, Six-String Samurai...there are more, but I can't quite remember them all at the moment...I enjoy movies with decently written dialogue and displays of emotion, if that helps. Also, monster movies.

    I do so love to read, but I have difficulty remembering names. The names I do remember seem to be ones that most everyone knows of, so when I start listing out authors, I feel kind of pretentious. In any case, I am a fan of Michael Chabon (Hoping to pick up a copy of The Yiddish Policemen's Union as soon as I can). I also have a passion for comic books, but given the overly enthusiastic nature of said obsession, it would be better to just ask me something specific...

About me:

I've managed to grow in great bounds as a person in the past two years, mostly in the past year. I'm trying not to be that awkward, mumbly corner-kid from the low rent apartments anymore. Having said all of that, I am proud of who I am, what I've done. I like rare or otherwise obscure movies, often of questionable taste, at ungodly hours. I have interests in art, theatre, and music and would like to pursue a life in which I could be around all three (Though I can't carry a tune in a bucket, my art suffers from my apathy, and my face was meant for radio). I'm also prone to rambling, so if you want to know something specific, just ask.
