About me:

The ErasetheH8! Campaign is Getting bigger every day. We are a group of people who are dedicated changing the climate here in Fresno. The effect Proposition 8 has had on our lives has been so detrimental, and people need to know how it has affected us. What we want is to make a difference; to show people who we are, and that we are all still out here. The more we do, and the more we are able to share with people, the more minds we are able to change. Are you willing to come out? Are willing to stand with us and be heard? Objectives:

    1. Gaining visibility for the gay community
    2. Erasing the hate caused by the Yes on 8 Campaign, its supporters, and their lies
    3. Shattering misconceptions about the gay community
    4. Making the public aware of the actions of the places in which they choose to shop

    People have been quoted as saying same-sex marriage is "the defining social issue of our time," and they are right!

    “What is being done about Prop 8?”

    Well, so far, five civil rights groups have asked California’s highest court to annul the ban. On the grounds that Proposition 8 threatens the legal standing of all minority groups, and not just gay community

    WE CAN NOT GO AWAY PEOPLE!


    If we just sit at home, waiting for things to happen, then nothing will. We all need to come out, stand up for our rights, and be heard. WE NEED TO BE SEEN! TAKE OUR RIGHTS?! EXPECT A FIGHT!

    The event dates are as fallows, so please keep you calendar clear!

    December 13Th: Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company
    December 27th: EyeCare Fresno (They shut down the building rather then let us protest)
    January 10th DOMA: WE GATHERED 812 SIGNATURES! LOL, GO TEAM!
    January 30th: Back to EyeCare Fresno! (This one was exciting, check out the videos)
    February 12th: Sit in at the County Clerks office. Ask for a marriage certificate, then take a seat. Want to get married?

    time and time again we as gay citizens of the state of California,we have been left out and throw us in the  shadow.
    is it time for a strong leadership who can represent us,  to push forward and ask to stop the discrimation of the gay community.
    we work hard and WE are part of this civilize state. why are we being left out. It seem we dont have a strong voice of leadership..  stop wasting your time and speak out very aggressively..  FIGHT as you said,, in strong VOCAL  WORDS..  FIGHT!!!
    Christians are not PLAYING  FAIR!!  They are just playing DIRTY?
     
    Why should we play fair?.  
    STOP wasting the time and be strongggg!!!  VOCAL WORDS!!   
    Example,, It Seem the BAD christians always appear, when they protest among you and they do bring along little  children to stand with them. that  SAD .they are not playing  fair.  they playing dirty. Ask them to leave. If they dont,, kick them, throw them sumthing. make them SHUT UPP!!
    NOW that we have a new guy,, Barack Obama.
    ASK  him to act  NOW.   we  voted for him.
    as a black President..  HE SHOULD  KNOW,  WHAT RIGHT AND WRONG.
    DISCRIMATION IS NOT RIGHT.
    ALL THE BLACK COMMUNITY  SHOULD KNOW THIS..
    GET THE  BLACK AND HISPANIC, WHITE TOGETHER,,
    discrimation must end.

    About this page:
    I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
