erAze was founded by August Creven and Petri Myllynen in 2002 as a project to build up some songs without being a full band.
In 2003 erAze project was reinforced by Mika Lönnström, who performed the lead vocals of the first releases of the project, as well as offered his help in mixing and mastering the new recorded songs. The cooperation with Lönnström was later finished in the end of 2004, and the making of further new songs continued entirely by Creven and Myllynen, as it still does.
In 2007 erAze was joined by a new drum player Petri Korhonen, with whom erAze has at the first time acted as a true band in the early 2008 rehearses.
When this combination was joined by a bass guitarist, it is truly most expectable that erAze is going to be perform as a true live band in the future.
During the past years erAze managed to achieve some success in the most popular Finnish free music site Mikseri.net, where the song "Line Of Sight" held the 1st position of the Top-40 list for five weeks, and was able to stay up in this list together over eleven full weeks. After this achievement erAze's "Line Of Sight" was added up in to the "Listataivas", the "Hall Of Fame" of the Mikseri.net.
