Since Oliver Falk needed a second outlet next to his band WeltenBrand as time went by the idea of a Gothic/EBM project came upon his mind. During the years of 1998/99 he talked to Thomas Rainer (L’àme Immortelle) about it who unfortunately could not join the project in the end because of lack of time.
That is why Oliver was looking for another singer what made him get in contact with Sabine Duenser. Then he started to compose the songs for the planned album “Twilight”.
What actually was thought as two-man project got a little larger asking Pete Streit to play some guitar parts on the album. This fitted well so he stayed with Erben der Schöpfung for the entire record.
In the year 2001 the first record “Twilight” and the single “Elis” was released under M.O.S. records witch followed a great live performance at the Wave Gothitk Treffen in Leipzig. (After this gig Jürgen Broger, Tom Saxer and Franky Koller who first where thought as live support stayed with the band.)
After that gig the band played itself into the hearts of the crowd what made Alexander Krull take care of the management of Erben der Schöpfung.
That was the beginning of the end of the band as it was formed.
Because of several misunderstandings between the composer Oliver Falk, the rest of the band and the management unfortunately the court was the last instance.
Because of the incompetent advice of a lawyer Oliver left the band instead of dismissing all the other band members and the management. That made Oliver Falk loosing the license for his entire work “Twilight” and some rights on it.
The only thing he could save of his project was the name “Erben der Schöpfung” with having the copyright sign on it. The rest of the member went on under the name “Elis” (named after Erben der Schöpfungs first single) and the management.
This was quite heavy but yet the thought of the project “Erben der Schöpfung” never died.
Fall 2005 there was formed a new list of members around Composer Oliver Falk with vocalist Dina Falk–Zambelli and Rino Vetsch on guitar.
2007 the the band went to the studio to record their new album. Now the idea of Erben der Schöpfung continues with a unique dark Gothic-EBM-Metal sound.
