Yo, What up! My name is "Rich Dad" (pilsen's ill-son). I'm from a little neighborhood in chicago just east of Western ave. & west of Canal st. Just south of 16 st. & north of Cermak ave. That's right, look it up, ha.ha.ha. I was raised my whole life on 18th. Even when my family moved out during the summer of 99, something just kept pulling me back. I eventually moved back in 2002.
I guess you can say music has alway's been a part of my life. Since my dad play's the bass and my uncle's a d.j. My dad's in a band that play's a variety of spanish music, he and my grandfather had dreams of me playing the accordian when i was a kid. I was never really into the accordian, I had more interest in the music my uncle used to mix. As far back as I can remember he and my dad have alway's been doing gigs. I guess that's why I dont get to nervous before performances.
My interest in making song's began with my boy Tillah Snooze freestylin' all the time. I remember I would often tell him to shut up, because he would just never stop. Then oneday my boy Koid Rok bought a karaoke machine off some kid that stayed down the block from his house and we started writing to industry beats in his garage. Back then we used to record on tapes, we used to even do voice over's using two tape's.
It wasn't long after that my boy Digitel Crimes caught wind of what we were up to. Turned out he was on the samething we were. So he started letting us record in his basement. A while went by and me, Tillah and Koid stopped recording songs together. So Digitel Crimes started giving me beats and I started recording my own solo song's. More time went by and I eventually bought everything I needed to record myself at home.
Now, here I am in 2009. Getting ready to drop my first official album "The Karaoke Machine". Featuring beats from my guy's J Santana, The Kracker, Roxx City Beats and Koid Rok One. I've been working really hard on this one since early 2008 and hopefully It'll be ready to drop sometime before summer. Anyway, thanx for taking time to check out my page, music, video's and a hundred more for taking time out to read this ha.ha.ha. Much Appreciated!
