Definitely not the one to sleep on, E. RED is a multi-talented artist from the streets of the Seaport City of Savannah, GA. Fueled by a deep passion for his music, E. RED wears many hats in the industry. He does everything from production and songwriting to arranging and engineering. With more than 10 years in the game, E. RED is definitely no amateur. Leaving no room for second guessing, his lyrics are hardcore and direct. Although he can create a hook at the drop of a dime, this is not his only asset. His songs have subject matter. He can actually rhyme with or without the hottest track producer of the month.
Frustrated by many different labels trying to stifle his creative abilities and turn him into someone else, E. RED decided to start his own label and put out the music that he loves and that the street deserves to hear. He also wanted to play a role in the development of other artists. Sooo…, all the haters contributed to the birth of Port City Muzic.
E. RED has had the opportunity to work with some veterans in the game such as K.T. and Fred G. formerly of ATL’s own Hard Boys and Kujo Goodie. He has also worked with producers DJ Brad of the Legion of Doom, Flame “Fame” Miller, and Tom Slick of Collipark Music. E.RED has also appeared on several mixtapes, including DJ Montay’s “Southern Style DJ’s presents Heat on the Street Part 2”, “The 1st Annual BET Hip Hop Awards Mixtape”, and DJ Brad’s “Heat on the Street, Vol 16.” He has also released two mixtapes of his own, entitled E.RED & FAM presents Kobble Stone Kings Vol’s I and II.
