Menhirs of Er Grah (Thom Carter) is a singer from London. His music is an emotional and intensely personal collection of journal entries, odes to nature and bitter-sweet love songs, inspired by the acoustic sound of the 1960’s and 70s.
Selected press:"He has a vast intelligence on what it means to be an artist… something completely original and enlightening". (Comfort Comes, 'Different World' review).
“The sound is, to put it simply, quite beautiful’”. (Free Albums Galore).
"If you are looking for hot coffee in the morning through music, let the rain pour down upon you and the beans brew for a half an hour with Tom Carter….This album could surely act as the muse to a better day, maybe even a better existence… Menhirs Of Er Grah is exactly the sort of musician’s artist the world has been awaiting”. (Comfort Comes, ‘Mourning Dove’ review).
"Minor chord strumming and gently picked melancholic melodies… almost brought me to tears". (Davide Styles, ‘Blues Matters’).
