Erica AP is Erica Ann Putis. She starts with a drum beat and lets the song take shape with no expectations in mind. That's when the songwriting energy opens up. Erica has finished her first album (Off the Ground) where she recorded 4 of the songs at the very talented D-fab Studios (dfab020.com). Wondering if she could pull it all off on her own, she decided to record the rest of the album herself and is pretty proud of the results. The album is in the process of being pressed and will be available for purchase in the near future.
She is currently in the band The Predicates, the band Recordable Colors and plays with Itai Faierman, but is still making time for her solo music.
Erica also received some help with the art work of this album from a really great graphic designer, Tom Jimenez (creativeinfluences.com) and press photos are taken by Maria Lopez.
She has started her own clothing company called Nuclear Clothing: myspace.com/nuclearclothing and has started and event company with 2 other entrepreneurs called IndieGo Park: www.indiegopark.com
