Influences	I've been greatly influenced by vocalists who are just such solid technical singers that they are totally free to to express their emotions with their instrument. These singers include Donny Hathaway, Eva Cassidy, Mariah Carey(early Mariah), Peabo Bryson, Regine Velasquez, Brian Mcknight, Celine Dion, Maria Callas, Lea Salonga and of course the late Luther Vandross. All of these singers have greatly influenced my approach to singing in significant ways.

About Eric Arceneaux

I'm a southern boy, born and raised in New Orleans. After surviving Hurricane Katrina, I relocated to the Washington, DC area. Lately, I've been pretty successful as one of the youngest vocal coaches in today's music scene. I've worked with artists from around the world, helping them to develop their voices. As a recording artist, I've managed to earn the respect of industry heavy weights like Brett Manning and - Grammy nominated - singer Louise Robinson. With over 4 million hits to my videos on Youtube.com, I've gained fans and friends from around the globe. My goal: to redefine what it means to be an "independent" recording artist. I believe that many in the industry have greatly underestimated the intelligence and the taste level of the public. I've learned that if you give people quality... If you give them your heart in the music, they will respond; they will feel you. I believe that my fans relate to me and appreciate my lack of emotional restraint, when it comes to my art. I show my thanks by doing my best to remain genuine in the music that I produce.

Christian	Jun 24 2009 4:56 AM Dude....I would have to say that your videos are amazing and you were so helpful in helping produce my singing. Especially considering the parts of head voice because I have good sound in chest voice because I knew how to use my diagphram correctly and I can distinguish pitches quite well (Trumpet player) but I never knew that you were not supposed to use so much diagphram on the higher notes and therefore I would just like to again say thank you for all your help on your videos. =] Keep being amazing!
