Erica "SUNSHINE" Lee is a Singer/Songwriter originally from Elberton, Georgia. Her writings are based from real life personal experiences and influenced by many people and artists throughout her lifetime. She just released her album STRUGGLE STREET, and is hard at work at Granada Studios recording her new album ROAD TO RECOVERY with producer Stevan Pasero. "Sunshine" just returned from the first leg of her recent US Struggle Street Tour where she performed in California, Nevada, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee (Nashville), New York City, and Pennsylvania. Her sounds combine her love for folk styles, bringing a subtle hint of bluegrass with her country roots, introducing the past to her present Bay Area rock sound. She has been singing since the age of 5, and began her talents in her Baptist church upbringing. After singing in several bands, she started her own Classic and Modern Rock/Country Top 40 cover band called "PIER PRESSURE." This combination of local Bay Area talent plays around in various Irish pubs, bars, restaurants, and local private events, weddings, parties, and festivals. PIER PRESSURE music is based on rock classics by Fleetwood Mac, Emmy Lou Harris, Tom Petty, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Eagles, Patsy Cline, Lucinda Williams, Van Morrison, etc., in combination with more current standout songs from bands such as Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeshi, Feist, A Fine Frenzy, Colbie Caillat, Tracy Chapman, Dido, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow and KT Tunstal. She has just completed recording her new EP Album titled SUNSHINE. Sunshine is known throughout the Bay Area as one of the top local female vocalists.
