Performing with many musical groups for over 20 years has made Eric a seasoned player, encompassing every style of music from pop, progressive and instrumental rock, to even country.

His name is well recognized in his field and has earned the respect of many musical colleagues, as well as experienced veterans in the recording industry. His hard work and efforts have landed him on the same bill with recording artists like Quiet Riot, I Mother Earth, Great White, Thornley, Default, High Holy Days and more!

Currently, Eric finds his home onstage and in the studio with the band Finding Core. With one professional studio release behind them, and another on the way, Finding Core is a group that is attracting much attention from fans of groups like Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, Trapt, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Creed and more.

With patronage back to his biggest guitar hero, Edward Van Halen, Eric performed for some time in Canadas largest Van Halen tribute band 5150 which truly showed the music community what he held up his sleeve.

Since his early days as an inspiring teenage rock guitarist, Eric has won numerous guitar wars competitions and has continued to do so even to this day. In the early 90s when the days of guitar shredding was nearing its end, Eric placed in the top 10 for all Canada in the National Guitar Warz competitions. This competition, along with others let the public know that he was determined for success!

To this day Eric continues to not only strive forward in his life long dream of touring nationally like the big boys, but also still keeps himself firmly planted on the ground too. He also contributes to, and recognizes talent in the local music scene of his community and surrounding area by writing a weekly web column for the CKTIMES, entitled Rock Shop. (http://www.cktimes.ca/rockshop) in effort to direct attention to all the up and comer musicians that may sometime go unnoticed.

Major musical instrument manufacturers have jumped behind Eric in support through endorsements as well, furthering his credibility as a musician. In 2004, Eric became Canadas first endorsee of the PedalSnake a revolutionary invention from Stage Magic Inc. (http://www.pedalsnake.com). Recently, the worlds most prestigious guitar manufacturer Paul Reed Smith (P.R.S.) Guitars (http://www.prsguitars.com) issued an endorsement to Eric as well, and he is awaiting the 1st shipment of a new Singlecut Trem from them as we speak. Not to be outdone there, one of the worlds up and coming 1st round contenders of guitar strings Firewire Strings (http://www.firewirestrings.net) has jumped onboard with Eric with a string endorsement. Long time supporter Dava Picks (http://www.davapick.com) also remains a highly respected team member.

UPDATE:
2006 has already seen additional endorsements come forth, from industry giants like Floyd Rose (http://www.floydrose.com) and D-Tuna (http://www.dtuna.com). Let’s hope the rest of 2006 is as successful as the 1st month has been!

With many options on the horizon, and a reputable track record behind him, Eric is truly a guitarist to watch for in the days to come.
