Bred for sarcasm, Eric Campbell hits the stage and blends absurdity and cynicism with a hint of childishness. He lets you have it. A metropolitan vagrant, he wins over the audience with his playful self-deprecation. Eric performs seemingly careening towards chaos, using an uncanny ability to flaunt anger with a wink to it. With a relentless questioning of authority, Eric ambushes the pseudo-aristocratic, while establishing a comfortable shorthand with the crowd. His material spans from leprechauns to vegetarians to pop culture. Never one to take himself too seriously, the Irishman delivers a trademark incisive wit with tongue-in-cheek bravado. Hes the been-there-done-that brat with charm. Eric has quickly become a stand-up act to pay attention to, working with names such as Doug Stanhope, Dennis Regan, Ralphie May, Rich Vos, Orny Adams, Joe Matarese, Dave Chappelle, Pablo Francisco, Sean Raus, Drew Hastings, Todd Yohn, Greg Warren, Tammy Pescatelli, and Dave Attell.

Eric's Interests
General
The American Condor, violent video games, poorly constructed bridges, Chinese water torture, long term commitments with short term side effects, that crap that builds up in your eyes overnight, Green Lantern, Batman, Green Arrow, and other DC Universe characters, coffee-scented anything, old country porches, incidents involving bottle rockets, wet-nosed puppies, rain in October, and Satan.
Music
Everyone is a critic,so not gonna reveal any preferences here. I do like those waterfall CDs however.
Movies
Most anything with Robert Downey Jr. or John Cusack. a good mobster or gangster movie. And anything sci-fi or comic bookish.
The books I read usually have dudes in capes with superpowers, so I may expose myself for a cheesedick but here goes: (All DC Comic Trade Paperbacks i.e. Graphic Novels) Green Arrow:Quiver, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Green Lantern: the Sinestro Corps, Kingdom Come, Watchmen, Justice League: the Lightning Saga, Batman Year One. The entire Preacher series, Kurt Vonnegut novels, Hunter S. Thompson collections and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Heroes
It may be impossible or even sappy, but your hero should make you forget about your own selfish needs right? So I'd have to say my nieces Anna and Evie. Not funny or particularly profound, but hey it's honest.
I am an anonymous, blunt instrument wielded by a Government Department. Honestly, I'm exhausted from trying to be clever. Look at my picture and base our friendship on cosmetics only like a normal person.
A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll.
You're totally weird and very proud of it.
Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in... in your own strange way.
