Eric Herman rocks and/or rolls with the best of the best in the kids' music world. His tunes are at once ingeniously funny, indelibly memorable and incredibly fun. Described as a mixture of Shel Silverstein, Sesame Street and The Beatles, Eric's music connects in a big way with a wide range of kids as well as adults.
Eric has released five acclaimed CDs for kids, The Kid in the Mirror (2003), Monkey Business (2005), Snow Day! (2006), Snail's Pace (2007) and What a Ride! (2009). His music has been heard nationally on PBS Kids, XM Radio and Sirius and his song "Blackbeard, Bluebeard and Redbeard" won the 2006 Just Plain Folks award for Best Children's Song. Eric's video for "The Elephant Song" is one of the most popular of all children's music videos online, with over 5 million views on YouTube.
Eric performs many concerts and assembly programs around the Northwest and other parts of the country. Bursting with comedy and fun, and including plenty of participation and interaction, his concerts have received raves from kids and adults alike, with many event coordinators referring to his show as one of the most creative and entertaining kids' music shows they've ever featured at their venues.
Eric's backup group, the Invisible Band, is comprised of some of the finest invisible musicians in the world. Invisible Dave was the touring bass player for Milli Vanilli and the studio bassist for The Doors; Invisible Jill has performed in many films where player pianos could not be obtained; Invisible Keith's drumming can be heard on numerous rap, hip-hop and techno recordings; Invisible Pete plays the tuba and was a stunt double for Chevy Chase in "Memoirs of an Invisible Man" and Kevin Bacon in "Hollow Man". Together with Eric Herman's vocals and guitar-playing, they are a tight-knit group of rock solid musicianship.

Thank you! I really am not able to use my phone, I actually went over my minutes this month, and I found out I only have free nights but not weekends. If you can I would rather talk through e-mail, so when you're free send me an e-mail. Thanks.
Thanks for the add! Had a look and a listen and was duly impressed, especially cos I've been doing shows for children too & thus sometimes checked out others who do.
To reach people across language borders I've written mostly instrumental music, some of which can be heard by clicking this image of me and my electric mandolin (left).
