I grew up in the Washington DC area. At 16 I met an amazing guitarist named Chuck Underwood who basically changed my life. Chuck introduced me to the world of jazz guitar, turning me on to players like Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Mike Stern and Pat Metheny. Eventually, I decided to pursue my Bachelors in Music and received a scholarship to attend the University of North Florida where I studied jazz guitar performance with the great Jack Peterson. Jack was one of the original founders of the guitar program at Berklee, and was one seriously, demanding teacher. Be afraid! After college, I returned to the DC area, where I taught and played gigs of all types - anything that paid the bills. A few twists of fate led me to the city of Hartford, Ct where I currently reside. I continue to study music with one of the most respected guitarists on the scene today - Joe Beck.
Here is what I look like at my day job.

Here are some great videos you can watch if you're bored.
The Little Willies
Supergroup "The Little Willies" perform what should be my theme song.
Hiatt
My good friend, Ed, introduced me to Hiatt, and Ed is right, John Hiatt is "the man." I've watched this about 100 times, and it's still great.
Umm...I think you moved...so I guess you can't play a gig w/ me (The Wheels) on July 12th, and now I need to mail you that Fiona Apple CD that you lent to me (which was very good by the way). It has been a lot of fun playing gigs with you! Best of luck to you in Nashville! Keep in touch.

Yep, we will be at the TRI party for sure. I have finally started drinking wine and this year there will be no wine tasting. Go figure. We will make plans during the holidays.
