My partner in crime when I perform most of the time is Cliff Wilson Jr. Cliff and I met a few years ago when I was performing solo. I asked him if he wanted to join me for a song or two and we have been playing together ever since........ "Eric Erskine and Cliff Wilson create a rhythmic sound that would rival most four piece bands. Their unique blend of vocals, acoustic guitar, congas and harmonica give them a rich sound not found in most duo's. Performing original material as well as a wide variety of music from the 60's to the present. Eric and Cliff's music draws the listener in and leaves them wanting more"~ Bono.........Check out our YouTube video below!
Influences
......When I was growing up music was all around me. My mother had a huge collection of albums and 45's and played her stereo constantly. She listened to a wide variety of artists but Roy Orbison was probably her favorite....... Being the youngest of 3 children I was always listening to my older sisters music. They listened to everything from Cat Stevens and Dan Fogelberg to Queen. As I Became older and realized I could sing, music became my best friend. The Police, U2 and Dire Straits became some of my favorite bands. I was also captivated by singer/songwriters as I felt they did it all musically and lyrically. Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Sting and Jeff Buckley all influenced me for different reasons. Music is truly the universal language and I try not to limit what I listen to. Pop, folk, jazz, rock, R&B, Classical and country all have a place in my heart and in my iPod.............

Eric Erskine immediately eases the soul into his calming sea of music.
Combining elements of pop, folk and rock, Eric delivers songs that can elicit emotions, provoke the mind, or just relax the body. With a unique vocal and writing style Eric takes the listener on a musical journey with varied but integrated themes and musical styles.
An early connection to music, lyrics and performance led Eric down a musical path at a young age. Studying both guitar and voice gave him the tools to pursue his passion for writing and singing. Music grounds his life whether it be working in the recording studio or performing in front of an audience. Paying his dues touring nationally for many years, Eric settled back in New Hampshire and into songwriting.
In early 1997 Eric began working with acclaimed musician, singer/songwriter and producer Tom Dean. From the very beginning it was apparent that Dean’s production style was a perfect fit for Erskine’s songwriting. With Tom’s guidance Eric progressed both as a songwriter and musician. Their efforts would come to fruition with the release of Eric’s highly anticipated “November” CD in 2000. Over the past eight years Erskine has teamed up with Dean to release 3 more albums. “Still Life” and “Digital Age” received rave reviews and helped Eric stand out as a singer/songwriter. His latest CD “Thinking Out Loud” was released in late 2007. Eric recently won "Best Male Vocal Performance of The year" at the 2008 L.A. Music Awards. All four of Eric's CD's can be purchased at cdbaby.com and iTunes..
