Eric Nicholas is made of 75% water. But, you wouldn’t know it from looking at him. Despite his overwhelming liquid consistency, the singer manages to find unique melodies and rhythms floating around inside of him, and uses these to create an exciting blend of electro dance-pop music.
In March of 2009, Eric Nicholas released ‘Words and Sounds’, his first full-length solo album. The project consists entirely of songs he penned over the previous few years while living on the outskirts of Tokyo. Eric’s songs have been influenced by his life in Japan, as well as by his experiences while traveling the globe to nearly 50 countries. The resulting 11-song album is an eclectic mix, ranging from upbeat electronic dance tracks, smothered in sexuality, to laidback, emotional pop songs.
