Who is Eric Normand? Eric Normand is, in no particular order, a guitarist, composer, producer, arranger, recording engineer, tour manager, band leader, and website designer living and working in Nashville, TN. You have to wear a lot of hats to make a living in this town.
Since relocating from the cold confines of a small town in New England to Nashville in 2002; I have had the good fortune to work with Country Music Legends Toby Keith, Vern Gosdin, Daryle Singletary, and Rhett Akins with whom I am currently the lead guitarist, band leader, and tour manager. I have performed in every state in the continental US, made recent appearances in Canda, France, and Switzerland, and have also played on the Grand Ole Opry numerous times.
I also own a recording studio, Music On A Hill ; which is located just west of downtown Nashville. When I’m not doing shows with Rhett, working on website projects, or recording demos, I lock myself in the studio and create and record instrumental music. In 2008 I wrote, recorded and licensed some original music to Realtree Roadtrips with Michael Wadell and The Tommy Wilcox Outdoor Show. In 2009 I landed some of my work in Chef da Riz, a documentary about a rice cook off in Louisiana by award winning film maker Jeremy Campbell that will be airing in October.
As the music business is not always consistent, I have found a new passion that is often more stable, Website Design. My wife Kelly has a lifetime invested into computer and web technologies, and I have recently teamed up with her upstart Website Design and Hosting Company, Just Ducky Designs.
