It's like this....
I just don't get enough sleep... oh my, oh my....
Do you? Let me know if you do and more importantly,
how you do it.
Below... it's still true... but I'm kind of crazed
trying to write and write and write,
and come with something new. Who knows what it is that
makes a song happen. But whatever it is, a new song seems like a
minor miracle, especially, if it makes it into an on going set list.
I'm influenced by everything it seems.
Stuff I didn't pay any mind to ten years
ago... I like now. Folk music for example.
I was a die hard Jimi fan. Now, it's all about
finger picking... Travis and otherwise.
Learning to find my voice. I had an epiphany
watching Willie Nelson sing to 15,000 people like he
was singing to one person in the comfort of
his/her livingroom. Sing to the back of the room
without sounding like it.
It's all good, even the mistakes.
I remember being blown away by a Mendelsshohn
violin solo or by Chico giving Thelma Todd her "singing lesson"
in Horse Feathers.
By the countless people I hear day in and day out.
It's all mushed up in there... and as soon as I can figure
it out, I will put it up here.
Yo Eric Paradine, Whenever I listen to your music. I feel like singing too. But your talent is unmatched. How much time you spend to rehearse per day Eric Paradine? Love ya. B PS:Follow Me Twitter at http://twitter.com/iaent
