Reggae, Pop Rock, Hard Rock, Blues...
Just about anything that has a good melody and lyrics.
Death Cab For Cutie is my favorite album right now I can't stop listening to it!
Eric started his professional drumming career at the age of 15 when he got called to play with Canadian rock'n'roll icons Big Sugar. That was his first of two stints with the band. He rejoined in 2001- 2004, for their last album “Hit and Run” and the farewell tour.
In January of 2004 - 2006, Eric joined Hawksley Workman's "Wolves" and toured Canada and Europe. In the last few years, Eric has played live with Jeff Healey, Alannah Myles, David Gogo, Serena Ryder, Martha and the Muffins, Paul Reddick and the Sidemen, and The Parachute Club.
Presently, Eric is drumming for the band Thornley, lead by former Big Wreck singer and guitar icon Ian Thornley. Eric also plays drums for Fairfield, a great new Canadian act that is about to release their much anticipated debut album "Forgiveness" which Eric also co-wrote, led by fellow Victoria, B.C. native Casey Marshall.
Eric also continues to play with Hawksley Workman and has just finished working in the studio on Rex Goudie's new release "Look Closer". Other song writing credits include The Trews' "Tired of Waiting" on their debut album "House of Ill Fame" and tracks on their yet-to-be released third studio album.
Eric's currently busy touring and working with Thornley on their next studio album, which will be released late spring 2007.
