Currently I am leading three ensembles. The Eric Rasmussen Quartet features my original music and the music of my guitarist Nate Radley. Guaranteed Swahili is a group that has been together for over 10 years. We have released three records, the latest of which titled "Three More Years" was released on Fresh Sound New Talent Records in 2004 (www.guaranteedswahili.com). My latest project is something I call the "Tristano Band" which features the music of Lennie Tristano and his students. With the Tristano band I recorded three cd's called "School of Tristano" available on Steeplechase Records.

Thankful Birds (your favorite indie/jazz/blues/can't-make-up-their-minds band) are making sweet music this Friday at Hollywood Alley. It's a great bill with Haymarket Squares, Green Lady Killers and the Sugar Thieves.
