Thanks, my friend. There aren't many people I am sharing it with yet, but as a kindred spirit, that I have great respect for and who understands the creative process, I would share it with you. Send me your current email address and I will send you some work in progress. I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

That's a fine encapsulation of modernity. And I did track down the provenance of the reference; the internet is quite something.

TRANScontinental, man, not intercontinental.
I've done a little bit of that transcontinental shit myself; I oughta be careful with my flippancy.

Oh yes-Shalamar are that good! Someone recently told me that you write an thesis on the movie Cruising? Is this true, and if so, can I read it? The new DVD release includes a great documentary and I just purchased the original paperback. So, yeah, I pretty much love it....

Aug 27 2008 3:11 PM

new 8ft demo up now:

39 and I don't take pills
it's summertime but I got the chills
know my best is better than you
so why don't you see me on You Tube

I thought this was the place I was looking for
But then I opened all of the doors
the good and bad both flew in
I had to choose one and bop it on the chin

It don't mean nuthin

So I read this book a long time ago
how to improve my life or maybe so so
It only got worse the more that I got help
i had to leave my best up on the shelf

Now no one ever gets a look at me
I hide behind a fake personality
It's preety good I must admit
But my real self makes it look like shit

It don't mean nuthin

Help me (then add any random verse form another song that seems to fit)

'lot of fine-looking middle-aged men in the crowd tonight'
enjoyed that...
also shattered my third whiskey glass all over the floor. Feeling extremely smooth.
Extremely.

You most be out of your mind, Abaabu - estrogen may seem wild and exciting, but JEAZUS, it's usually hell. Me, I probably should get hold of some testosterone. I am so f'cking sick of crying jags and I would damn sure welcome my libido back.

a rather unfortunate #14 bus ride wherein a certain wallet balancing freak sat in the seat in front of me. i held my head down low and pretended to study the bus transfer but it was futile; i was trapped. and now the whole bus knows he had mouth cancer from drinking out of a dirty glass. quite a sight.
