ERIC'S IN OREGON: Small Circle
Alternative folk rock band in the style of the Byrds/R.E.M. fronted by singer/songwriter Tom Palminteri.
Tom Palminteri is a Singer/Songwriter/ guitarist and composer and Eric's In Oregon is his main project.
I have been writing and performing my music for over 15-years. As lifelong fan of music, film and art in general I started taking music more seriously when I entered SUNY Purchases school for Studio Composition in 1988. At Purchase I started the group Eric's In Oregon in the late 1980s as a showcase for me and my friends songs. Although I consider them all to be terrific musicians eventually Eric's In Oregon became a sometimes a group sometimes a solo act kind of thing featuring mainly my songs and compositions so as of late I am playing out as simply Tom Palminteri. I am still great friends with the former members of Erics In Oregon. Many of there names are listed here.
A lot of my influences have been listed here. I see my work in the tradition of people like Paul Simon and Elvis Costello although as you can see there are many influences here for sure. I feel music is a great art form. It has the power to touch many lives. I try my best at creating good music and meaningful lyrics. Thank you for checking out my page. I will be putting up recordings of new songs and performances on this page from time to time. Stay tuned!!!

I'm just sorry i couldn't have taken more time to catch up but you could see that the bar was getting hammered with unruly drunk people lol. but thank you..i actually just listened to the new stuff on ur profile and i like where your sound is going. if you ever want to record a quick song or anything..let me know cause i just bought a mac with a really great interface, logic pro, drums, drum mics, and a really nice midi keyboard. That and i'm local...so let me know
cool i'll see you around then... um, none of them have ever been put out, so when the c.d. comes out in about a month or two, it will be the first time people will be hearing them (except a few shows we played). the mazzy star cover is relatively new.
