    eric volcano is a former member of the L.A. based Rock band the Rattlesnakes (2000-2003). After the Rattlesnakes broke up, he spent the next few years writing songs for what would become his debut album, Friendly Fire, which was relesed in June 2006. The album is a song cycle more or less about losing something you never wanted to lose, and all the turmoil that comes as a result of trying to deal with that loss.
