Erik has toured Norway a number of times, and in Europe with Jaga Jazzist, Ensemble Denada and Loud Jazz Band. In Trondheim Jazz Orchestra he has worked with composers and soloists such as Joshua Redman, Eirik Hegdal, Terje Rypdal, Jon Balke and Maria Kannegård.

This year he released a trio cd with "Lord Kelvin" on JAZZLAND recordings, and got an award, jazZtipendiat 2009, with the band "Magic Pocket". The new Jaga Record is finished and will be released in january 2010. He also hope to record a couple of new cds with his bands.

Hi and thanks for the friendship! Black Bile Extempore, an album with our deconstruction of John Dowland’s galliard Can She Excuse will be released on August 20 during the Happy Nordic Music Days in Oslo. The CD release will be celebrated with a duo performance on guitars and electronics at Sound of Mu at 20:00 on August 20. This performance is organized by NoTAM, the studio in Oslo where the album was recorded. On our site you will find six tracks from the album. All best!/The Black Bile Galliards
