My name is Erik, I live in Columbus, Ohio with my roommate Corban. We're always trying to have a good time, always. I am a graphic designer at a local sign shop. I try to earn more money from my website, Emerald Fusion Design. I also give guitar lessons to novice students. I've been trying to stay motivated and study independantly. College was too expensive for me. I enjoy watching indy wrestling and puroresu. I try to play music from time to time, and like to pretend I am a singer/songwriter. I'm also a video game tournament champion. I love competitive gaming, but at the same time, I hate it. I also suffer from the "tetris effect" at times. I enjoy riding bikes, running basketball games, chess, and trying to animate cartoons.
Art:
I started out drawing when I was really young. I used to tell people I was going to be an artist when I grew up. I guess that's become somewhat true. I work in the art department of a sign company. I started doing graphic design professionally when I was 18 during my senior year of high school. I'm yet to afford to go to school to earn any kind of degree or certification. Throughout the last five years, I've completed all sorts of work, from small companies throughout the community to national brands.
Other things I do:
I enjoy hanging out with people. As anti-social as I am, I do enjoy parties and trying to meet as many new people as I can. Which sounds odd to a lot of people because I do not drink or smoke, yet I throw parties where everyone gets hammered except me. And when I'm not "partying", sometimes I go to the movie theater by myself just to get away. I don't watch any TV. I don't even have cable at my apartment. Sometimes I sit at home on my Mac and read stupid things on the internet, you know like myspace.

I'm very obsessive compulsive. I can spend hours playing music, doing art, or playing Dr. Mario... I don't like to quit anything until I feel I have done something right.
I don't know how dating works. I never actually know if I'm allowed to say I'm dating someone, nor do I understand the measly superficial rules of it.

I think trendy clothing stores are stupid. You know, places like Holister, American Eagle, Hot Topic, etc. Support rags.
Sports are overrated. I especially get irritated when people get emotional over college football.
I hate politics. Politics are like sports for "sophisticated" people. They just cheer for whatever party they've decided to align themselves with, and act like a bunch of assholes when someone doesn't like their team. Blah. Most of all, I really hate the religious conservative types.
