I'm a 23 year old stay at home mama from Wisconsin who's married to the man of her dreams. I love my life, my family, and my friends. I've been pretty blessed in life, but I've also surely had my fair share of rough patches as well.
I cherish the simple things in life... watching my daughter play, hot baths, feeling the mud between my toes, coloring, trying to cook, spending time with family and friends, soaking up the sun, building sand castles and snowmen, this list could go on and on and on.
I'm generally a very happy person. I do have some bad days, but I've learned that things won't always go my way. For every negative situation there are two options - sit around and pity yourself, or learn from the situation and move on. I tend to choose the "move on" route.
My biggest flaw is that I have a huge heart. I say it's a flaw because I never want to hurt anyone so instead, I'm the one who gets hurt and people tend to walk all over me. I'm working on it.
I can't stand when people I trust lie to me... especially if it's about something stupid. If you're going to lie to me about something stupid then I can't even imagine what else you've lied to me about.
I understand that in life people will judge me. It's a natural reaction to do so and I can't say that I've never done it, but I try hard not to. All I ask is that you give me the respect to prove any negative judgments wrong as I would for you.
Music
I can't stand heavy metal although the music itself fascinates me, I just can't tolerate the screaming.
I'm not a fan of opera. It's just annoying.
Other than the above genres I'm pretty much open to anything.
Movies
I like all sorts of movies, but mostly chick flicks and comedy, however I'm not into grotesque comedies i.e. Zack and Miri Make a Porno... not my cup of tea. I'm also a sucker for movies based on real life events. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a great movie, but be prepared to cry.
Television
Call me crazy, but I like reality t.v. I also love the discovery health channel, but really I don't watch much t.v. I might watch a total of 1-3 hours per week, seriously.
Books
The Holy Bible (KJV) is the most amazing book ever written. Another book I highly recommend is Tuesdays With Morrie... it gives you a whole new outlook on life. I also love My Sister's Keeper and The Five People You Meet In Heaven.
Heroes
Anyone can be a hero. You can be a hero by standing up for what you believe in. You can be a hero by standing up for the person who constantly gets picked on at work or school. You can be a hero by donating to the needy, whether that be your precious time, money, food, or things. You can be a hero by going out of your way to help your fellow man. If you have done any of these things, regardless of the consequences and when the only benefit you get from it is a possible temporary ego boost, then you are a hero to someone.
Well, I'm Bobbi. I hate writing about myself because I simply never know what to say. I have an amazing daughter and a wonderful husband. I love my family more than anything. I try to live life to the fullest. I have a horrible memory. Actually horrible is an understatement. If you want to know more, read my interests to the left. That's all for now. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
I actually dont work in the bakery anymore, you could request for me to do your cake if you want :). Unfortunately im pretty sure we dont have that for cakes, sorry, alot of people have asked for it though. Well let me know!
exactly.... see what i had said was a comment on a bulletin along the lines of that it shouldn't be made a huge deal that he died.... and i didn't clarify.... i don't think that celebrities dying should be a huge deal... not just him... its the fact that our society runs off of the news of the rich and famous and i don't think that's right... so i had some ppl saying "he deserves every bit of attention ppl are giving out to him... he's a legend" and blah blah blah.... which is true... he was a legend.... but i don't think ppl should follow up on his death so closely and get so worked up about it... he revolutionized music and dance.... of course... but you don't see any news specials on the ppl that make a true difference in the world and society. a difference that is more than hip thrusting and hitting a high note... that was my point....
yeah i made the mistake of making a comment about the whole mj thing but not clarifying enough and ended up irritating a bunch of ppl.... so many ppl care to much about what ppl have to say about it so i'll just keep my mouth shut cuz its not worth getting into a fight about
LOL well I did have awesome credit, but I really wanted to stay at home, so I gave lorenzo my credit cards and he was like "yeah I will pay you back by the end of this summer" well $8000 later...>yes eight THOUSAND! Lorenzo has made 1 payment and that was last year.
Well I settled that credit card this year, and I have 2 more that have gone into collections. All because I wanted to stay at home. :(
So yeah I am working towards paying off my debts so we can get a bigger home, because we only have a 2 bedroom 1 bath home, so in a few years we want to have another kid, and our home will be too small, so I am trying to prepare for that.
I am re-taking my clinicals this fall for Nursing, so I should make some good money there. Lorenzo is going to school this fall also to become a police officer. haha so watch out for him! LMAO.
To look at the invitation again, go to your inbox, then there is a box to the left side that says things like "inbox, outbox, sent,delete...etc" at the bottom of the box, it will say "event invites" click on that and you should be able to open the invitation.
But I understand if you feel uncomfortable coming, cause we have only met eachother once or twice, but I figured it would be nice for me to have some friends over, and have tons of kids to play with for our boys.
So when are you and Erik (sp?) going to have another baby? Is Erik still a manager at walmart? (I think that you told me that).
I totally feel different after having another baby. Especially after breastfeeding Avery. I still breastfeed him! LOL he is such a boob man. But yeah, my boobs pretty much look horrid. I really want a boob job when I am done having kids.
Those apartments you live in are nice aren't they? I think I have been there 1 time. I think Lindsey Covarrubias sister lived there once. I think.
haha. Ok I will quit rambling on :) ITs nice talking to another mama :)
Ashton turned 2 in Feb. Avery will be 1 in July. We are throwing them a bday in July (I invited you on here ) I hope you come if you can!
LOL thanks for saying I was pretty, its nice to hear that once in a while when you don't expect it, isn't it?
I wish I could stay at home and just be with my kids all day, but we can't really afford that because we have a home. We don't really want to move into an apartment or anything. I was thinking about getting a duplex or something so we could have help with the mortgage. But we have really bad credit right now so I think we are pretty much stuck here.
Do you live in Elkhorn or Delavan? I can't remember.
We should get together sometime with the kids, or if you want get together with Lindsey and Amy and the girls for a drink or something :)
You know, if you know any kids that need daycare, you could always come over here and help run it with me in my house...I am certified so I can accept W2 payments from low income families :)
LOL do you know anybody who needs daycare in Burlington?
Oh Bobbi. LOL i just typed boobi on accident. haha
How are you doing sweetie?? LOL...how do I look so good...well I don't after 2 kids!!! The camera just doesn't pick up the stretch marks mama!!!!! I have A TON of them and its just the lighting of the picture that you can't see them.
I'm sure you are just as skinny as I am Bobbi!!! How is Aarilyn (sp?)???
You still staying at home or what? I am running a daycare in my home so I still get to stay at home with my kiddos.
I like how your name is circles now lol. Hope all is well by you, we'll have to get together soon. Sorry if I've been distant lately, I'm not doing so well right now. Lots of love!!
Heyy! We have the same song, how cute! Im in love with it! I hope your doing good! I stopped at your mom's house thursday to see mikey but he wasnt there! Tell him HI for me when you see him! Love ya! :)
i understand think about it keep in touch. i updated my profile with some of the aid Trivani has provided i dont know if you have seen it yet. Without spending a dime talk to people you know see if anyone would want to sponsor a child. if you have a least 4 people interested then you KNOW sponsoring your child would be free. im glad that you have kept in touch tho i love talking to knew people and through you have found this other awesome company overlooked
Honestly i felt the exact same way the idea is this. The shipment after tax is 137 at least mine is it might be a little less or a little more depending on your state tax. Im not about pressuring anyone or getting them to do something they dont want to do to. All i can say is this. Yes you initially pay to get a shipment and YES we do want you to keep sponsoring your child BUT this is my cell phone number 801 372-5932 that way if you ever did have a problem with an order or wanted to stop it i would take care of it immediately. Ideally I WANT to help you make the money so that your 17 dollar shampoo really costs you nothing. The price of the products is higher than what you would find at walmart for three reasons, you get paid to purchase them, your money goes to different causes, and the products are natural and free of all the gunky harmful ingredients you find at the store. ALSO the BEST part about all it is if for some reason i failed to help you make your money back plus some you can send it back. null and void in 30 days.
