In other news some Montreal/Ottawa/Toronto shows in the works around the holiday season.. get your best (or second best) stickers out for the Erin Lang on Tour Sticker book or just brows through old favorites! Decorate your life with sticky puffy smelly googely eyed sparkely creatures! or bring in your bands sticker for a bit of roaming publicity.. If you have no idea what i am trying to say here, i have turned my guestbook at shows into an international sticker collection, so don't just sign it sticker it!
nearly June 2008
Toronto Cupcake wars!! right now i am reigning queen of the baked goods and live music combination, check out this exclaim! article. Too funny. Opening for Jim White at the Horseshoe was a wonderful show and New York at The Annex was amazing apart from the torrential down poor, wet people brought cheesecake and cheered loudly. Looking forward to our NXNE show, new April Wine inspired Tshirts and You are Found pet tag necklaces available at the next show and online soon!
winter 2008
Some really amazing canadian shows complete with cupcakes and upright bass played at Pop Montreal by my oldest friend Ryan Fleury (played the bass not the cupcakes), in Toronto at The Central and on Live radio at CIUT by Andrew Pacheco. Roger O'Donnell gracing the synths and Jeff Buckley on guitar.. there are audio and video clips floating around for those. There are more shows coming up in time for summer and a very creepy video for the song Until Then. I am happy to be to be back in Canada for a while!
right at this moment summer 2007..
Finished Mixes! You are found is in its nearly final form.. mixing the record was an incredible time putting aural baby birds back in nests and crickets in grass fields whispering secrets to the breeze. Ukulele, accordion and finger cymbal laden shows in London, England and Paris, France in September and Toronto New York and LA shows in October.
A little while ago now...
A long drive back from the last 10 days in the studio the south of Germany and we finally have the rough mixes of the whole album 'You Are Found'. This is my first album and on this page you can hear the first clips! We have been making the album at Uphon Studios in Weilheim Germany with Mario Thaler who has produced some incredible bands. (The Notwist, Lali Puna, Ms John Soda) It was a wonderful experience and i was sad to leave Weilheim where i have become a regular (for the first time in my life! i have never managed to be 'a regular' of have 'the usual) at the cozy cafe central, and sad to say goodbye to Mario and Ron (Fliger, the engineer and also an amazing singer and musician).. But we brought some apple shorle back with us.. so thats okay. we will see them soon to mix the record anyway!
I am very honored to be part of an amazing new record label called 99xoutof10 and to have a song on the first release which is a sampler of songs from all the artists.. I really think the music is amazing and to have something to do with getting these bands heard makes me very proud and exited.. like getting in the car with your best friend and the mix tape you freshly made for the trip and being excited for them to hear every song but the extra element of knowing the great people in the bands and bringing it to a wider audience (not just your best friend in the car.. though she loves it and we sing along and it makes it a great trip! haha) available for pre-order now (click below)

April 17th 2007 The brand new video for 'Daisy' made by the multi talented Mario Thaler.
Happy to See you
to catch a star or a rainbow is impossible.. i keep trying to tell you, but you keep trying.. i write these songs about you.
your shadow is twice as dark and twice as deep as it should be, i dont tell you this because i try not to notice.. but i find myself writing about it.
the every day of insects, lightning, nearly drowning in the sea and finding things you didnt know you lost or didnt know your needed but when found, you cant imagine living without, are also fascinating to me.
Hi there, Thanks for the add. We are a Post Rock/Electronica band from Cairo, Egypt. Our debut album "Marching Stickmen" is now available FOR FREE on our page. Check us out and feel free to download our album ;)
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
