Yay! I'm doing well. Living in Truckee, California (Lake Tahoe), so not far from my original home town (Reno, Nevada). Working at a ski resort (Northstar-at-Tahoe), for about 5 seasons (3 winters and 2, almost 3, summers = 3 years). I'm lovin the life here. It truely is an amazing place. Met my current boyfriend here, we've been together for almost 2 years now. That's the dude in my profile pic. I was soooo upset when your email changed and I couldn't keep in touch with you. How have you been? What have you been up to?
ahh. im hoping to record at the beginning of the week. i have monday/tuesday off... and perhaps thursday.
did you figure out how to DL the songs? if not, ill need your email again. sorry. i cant figure out how to work my inbox on this fangled music myspace...
i just wish there wasnt like 3 minutes of talking before each song... i have to find someone with music editing software to cut that out... :)
i'll definitely know what i have it up. im just trying to assemble media for it right now. i want some video too. i had an awesome dulcimer/ukelele jam at the park earlier today, and we recorded a lot of it, so that will be up soon! yaaaay!
i'm making a music myspace. would you mind if i put some of our radio cuts up? i just listened to them tongiht for the first time in forever. 'can i go now' is fucking amazing... if i do say so myself! :)
i've actually been making some headway on singing harmony, which makes me appreciate your talents all the more!
Hey, glad you like the music. And don't worry, we'll be playing a show in berkeley before long if I have anything to say about it. Pretty much just working on the music and bouncing between dayjobs for the moment, so the music half of things is good at least. Dayjobs suck. Beware the real world. Good to hear from you though, hopefully our paths will cross when I'm in the bay soon.
Thanks for being our friend. Hopefully we'll have a gig at Shattuck Down Low or some other reputable Berkeley venue in the not too distant future. How's life treating you these days?
