Once upon a time, there was a little girl who danced like an ragdoll stuck to an electrified fence and sang off-key to John Farnham tracks she only knew half the words to. At some point someone gave her access to a tape deck with a "record button" and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fast forward a little and you'll see that little ragdoll-dancer mature through high school creative arts performances, a stint as a featured vocalist at Northern Stars Under the Big Top in 2005 and a year studying for a Diploma of Music at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE until the present day.
Erin Smith, the one-time ragdoll dancer, is now nearing the end of her final year at Southern Cross University studying for her Bachelor of Contemporary Music degree. She has spent the last 3 years honing her songwriting and performance skills, and writing many of the songs featured here.
Each and every track Erin writes represents something deeply personal for her; events from her own life, as well as subjects, ideas and issues that enflame her imagination intermingle in ways that will tickle your brain, your funny bone, and your heart. She is able to bring her smooth and clever word play together with an innate ability to write a catchy, moving tune that will race up and surprise you with its artfulness and honesty. And she still dances like a ragdoll.
What we have here is a collection of boppy, wavy, loopy, sad, spritely, wistful, funky, undulate-y personal messages ready for direct broadwave to your own audiotronic receptivator.

I really liked his stuff when he did amy's wedding. Very nice use of colours and textures and stuff. Random, why'd he buy them if he couldn't use them??? I'm sure they'll look cool on the walls though. I went to the beach with pete 2 times already and its been so hot. I've already started tanning!!! i'm glad haha. No storms here, but i'm in bundy. I'm sure esk would have copped it if you guys did... but at least you have water now! haha. How long are sally, tim and peter away for? I'm so jealous. There have been a few storm warnings but no actual storms! Its been strange. Petes car is still broken down...its so frustrating. It works then doesn't. Nobody knows whats wrong with it.... I can't believe my dream sale came on and i'm not even there to enjoy it!!! I hope that you got enough for both us! Thanks for thinking of me, but i can't even find normal jeans for myself. it'd be so hard to find something like that without me there. We're going to brunch tomorrow morning with a family from petes church. They're really lovely. Then afterwards we're looking at two reception places all done up for weddings hopefully to decide which one we like. i should probably get some sleep. not long til fiji now!!!!
