About me: Freelance photographer for live rock concerts and dog sporting events.
I am not a professional photographer, nor do I play one on t.v. I have never taken a photography class in my life, but I DO know how to work the French version of Photoshop. Yes, I do Photoshop in French, it's pretty cool. I have learned everything in photography thus far by trial and error and I am still learning to this very day. One of my favorite concert photographers, Ross Halfin {www.rosshalfin.com} has been quoted as saying..."I'm a film person who's been forced to use digital." I can't tell you how much I agree with this comment and live by it. I still use film on occassion when warranted. I am NOT a bootleg photographer. All of the concerts/bands that I shoot have either requested me for the shoot or I have been granted permission to do the shoot. I never stand in one spot when I shoot a concert or a dog sporting event. I am always on the move to get different shots every time...unless, of course, I'm jammed in a photo pit with 1000 other photographers trying to get the same shot.
I am a serious competitor in the dog sport known as French Ring. I am the current Vice President of the Board of Directors for the North American Ring Association which is the governing body for the sport of French Ring in the United States. I am the Newsletter Editor for "NARA Ring Sport News" which is an International French Ring publication viewed worldwide by French Ring enthusiasts.
