Welcome to my space! So I am originally from Wyoming where I learned how to hunt, fish, hike, drink beer, fix my truck, taxidermy a little bit, how to love nature (including the Wyoming wind), build furniture, and play bluegrass music with my dad. Now residing in Fort Collins, Colorado I have FINALLY returned to school at CSU to finish my Wildlife Biology degree.
My husband Aaron and I play in a little honky tonkin', swingin' bluegrass, classic country pickin' band here in the Front Range area. We call ourselves "The Billy Pilgrims" and hope to see you all movin' your feet at a show someday! We have a website, at: www.billypilgrims.com, give it a listen!
We have recently joined another musical couple recently moved to Fort Collins from Iowa City Mike and Amy Finders and recorded an original album "Keep Your Suitcase Packed". Look for some CD release tour dates this summer on our website www.findersandyoungberg.com
I am also Vice President/ Head of Public Relations for a non-profit organization called The Trailblazer Foundation working for sustainable development in rural communities in Cambodia. Right now our focus is on getting clean water to rural villages with pump wells and bio-sand water filtration systems. Very cool and inspiring work, I am proud to be a part of that great cause. www.thetrailblazerfoundation.org Donate Now
I live 6 miles out of town by the Horsetooth reservoir west of Fort Collins where it's nice & quiet and there are deer in the yard everyday. I love working part-time at The Swing Station www.swingstationusa.com in LaPorte town, where I am surrounded by good friends, good music, good beer, and ping pong! I play slappity gut-string bass in the house band there every Weds. called "Colonel Slim and the Happy Honkies"with my hubby on pedal steel. If your ever travellin' through LaPorte, Colorado be sure to stop in and have a beer!

After pre-release tours in Colorado and Georgia, Dehlia Low’s new full-length cd “Tellico” will be presented for the first time in Asheville this Thursday at the Grey Eagle ($8/10, thegreyeagle.com)! Several cuts off the new disk can be heard on at www.myspace.com/dehlialow and live takes of a few of the songs will be performed Thursday afternoon on WNCW 88.7FM. Thursday night’s show will also be a chance for those of you who didn’t make it to Merlefest to hear Lyons, Colorado’s own Spring Creek Bluegrass Band, who are also preparing to release a new disk next month. Dehlia Low will also be joined by “Tellico” producer Jon Stickley of the Shannon Whitworth band. We hope to see you out and thanks for supporting live, original, and local music.
