In County Fermanagh there exists a unique and vibrant tradition of music song and dance. In the album the very best of these practising traditional musicians also explore current musical trends and together blend their own musical traditions using traditional and non-traditional instrumentation. The music is from and about our location, our natural environs and human history, the Legend story of the birth of the lakes, songs stories and melodies from the locality merge with new compositions and make up the rich tapestry of sound that is Erne Rising.
Several of our traditional musicians are also from classical, jazz, rock, country and world music backgrounds. All are experienced recording artists and composers, while some are experienced music producers.

Thanks for the add guys There's a few decent gigs around but not enough to make a living at unless your prepared to go all out at it.I'm hoping to do just that when I retire this year! Cheers..... Dave
