In reviewing the site today, it has come to my attention that it is nessesary to add some more clarifying information to the page. For those of you becoming a friend of Ernie that don't know his story, please read on... This past March, Team Honda's Ernesto Fonseca crashed while preparing for the Daytona Supercross at a test track in California. Ernesto landed on his head and broke the C-7 vertebra in his back, which is approximately at mid-chest level. His spinal cord was "bent" but not severed. The Great news, he is getting stronger in his shoulders, arms and wrists. Ernie is really getting much better but a lot of hard work is still ahead of him. Please keep him and his wife Carolina in your prayers!

About me: Last season was a tough season for Motocross fans, friends, racers, and supporters around the world. We have had several great talented riders sidelined with many forms of injuries. We all know this is a possibility in a sport as high flying and fast paced as this one.
Though it does sadden all of us when these incidents happen, we keep all those in our prayers who continue to entertain us each weekend and pray for the speedy recovery of the those afflicted.
We all, in some form or another are greatly influenced by this sport and are constantly striving to find ways to be safer on the track, but we all know the dangers.
Please help me make this effort happen, there is not another place on MySpace dedicated to Ernie and I hope this takes root. The thing I like the most about MySpace is that we all know the intentions of making a site of our own. There is no profit, no personal gain, and when a page is made for someone there is no personal boost to the designer, everything is on the table.
That is what this Space is about to me... It's not about me! Not in any form except I am putting the effort into a computer. This page is about Ernie, a friend, a very talented racer, a fan favorite, and for anyone who has met him in most any capacity he is just a really great person. Ernie is the part of the sport shared by many, he raced to fulfill a dream, to do what he loved, for the excitement... What ever the reasons are, he made us all, racers and fans alike glad to see him in the pits and on the track.
Here's to you Ernie, God-speed in your recovery, best wishes from ALL of us, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
