set up by jens o.w., eroded recordings’ aim is to release electronic music built around unusual sounds and odd melodies combined with heavy, funky beats. the purpose behind the production is to experiment with sounds available while keeping the dance floor’s interests in mind. the sounds are often warped, quirky and eroded; the beats are always funky.
birmingham is a key figure in the globally acknowledged musical style that is techno. dark, non-conformist agendas combined with heavyweight dance floor hedonism (as well as the que club!) make/made the city a very fine source of techno introduction. this is the inspriation behind eroded recordings.
