Erosion, hailing from the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide South Australia, officially formed in September 2008 playing their first gig in front of a healthy crowd on November 21st at The Salisbury Hotel in the 08 Summer Rockwars band competition winning their heat and making the semi finals.
They have since performed live on Radio Adelaide, played numerous shows around Adelaide City and suburbs, won the state "Live and Local" band competiton, and secured a spot on The ELIZAPALOOZA music festival alongside bands such as Calling All Cars, Funkoars, The Red Shore and The Scissor File. Recently Erosion has welcomed new bass player Glen Crawford to its ranks.
The new line up consisting of Craig Whales (Vox, Acoustic Guitar) Aaron Linwood (Lead Guitar) Glen Crawford (Bass) and Will Clark (Drums) is currently recording trax at The Northern Sound System in Elizabeth SA and working towards a future cd release......Erosion's music is best described as heavy with a mix of light and shade and strong hooks.
